Therapy
At our practice, we understand that healing and inner work are deeply personal journeys. While no one else can do this work for you, you don't have to navigate it alone. Our team of diverse clinicians—experts with a variety of research and training backgrounds—are here to support you. We believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the greatest predictors of positive outcomes in therapy. We strive to create a positive alliance with you, built on the pillars of trust, respect, and compassion.
Adolescents, Adults, & Families
We treat mood-related conditions such as depression and anxiety, trauma, changes in family dynamics, and substance use disorders. Our approach to therapy is rooted in a relational psychodynamic lens, viewing mental health and well-being as deeply interconnected with relationships, experiences, and cultural identities. We have a special interest in supporting marginalized populations, including neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals. Our team specializes in acculturation issues, the immigrant experience, and multicultural identity development for adolescents, adults, and families. We use evidence-based techniques to guide our collaborative work, delving into current challenges and exploring your history to uncover and understand patterns. Each individual seeks therapy for unique reasons and carries a complex personal history, so we tailor each treatment to meet your specific needs, goals, strengths, and cultural background.
Children
Our child therapists are dedicated to helping parents and children increase their awareness while overcoming roadblocks to healing, learning, and forming friendships. We work with children experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, behavioral difficulties, bullying, divorce or separation, and other major life changes. Our treatment approach is collaborative; we work closely with parents, teachers, and others in the child's community to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. We employ evidence-based methods primarily based on behavioral interventions, mindfulness techniques, cognitive behavioral practices, parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and play therapy. We often incorporate art and creative therapy into sessions with children and teens.
